Most of the time, i get kinda confused and cant really differentiate Hokkien with Teochew. Well, the pronounciation of most words is similar.

Hokkien "Lang" vs Teochew "Nang"
"Lim" Kopi vs "Jiah" Kopi (Drink Kopi)
Li Ti Toloh vs Ler Tor Tee Kor (Where are you)
Gin Na vs Nou Kia (Children)
Khah Kin vs Khah Meh (Faster)

in the Teochew, smoke cigarrette also "Jiah Hung Kee", drink tea also "Jiah Teh", eat noodle also "Jiah Mee"no difference in the 3 aspects, although can purposely different by saying "Kooh Hung Kee" for smoke cigarrette. In Teochew, there is no "Lim"
but in Hokkien, there is "Lim" and "Jiah" for drink and eat respectively, but in contrast it does not have a different word for smoke cigarrette. If u hear someone says "Sio Hung Kee", it just means light up a cigarrette but that's not so authentic
