Giant opens hypermart in Tampines under Warehouse Retail Scheme
Supermarket retailer Giant has opened its biggest store in Singapore in Tampines.
The hypermart is the third and final major retailer to open under the Economic Development Board's Warehouse Retail Scheme.
It costs about S$8 million and has thousands of products from around the world.
The store offers goods ranging from fresh food to general merchandise, clothes and footwear.
It will also be the first Giant store to sell cosmetics and have a foodcourt.
Giant said it would have a range of specially low priced goods and daily offers during the launch period.
