I am not a fan of horror movies but will sit in with hubby. However, when scary scenes are building, both my hands are up.
I will then have to ask hubby "okay already?" or he will tell me it's over then only my hands can find their place on my lap. -

i watch many horror movies.
some tips to make you not too scared:
1). when horror theme is building up, try to switch your attention to the borders of the movie screen...it helps to bring you back to reality. you can also look at the walls or lights of the cinemas.
2). Try to disprove their theory...thinking to yourself, how can this happen, how is this logical, blah blah...then you will be so "pek-chek" with the movie that you no longer scared of it..cuz not logical mah..
3). Counting 1,2,3,4,..... while eyes on the screen....helps bring your attention away too....so you no longer immersed into the horror music or story...then when your friends see you so brave, eyes big big watch movie, they will say waHH....

I stick my fingers into my ears and cover my eyes. At home, I run to the kitchen. If its on playback, I FF.

Same as gackt.. i won't pay $ to go scare myself silly. But i caught "the Ring" (after much persuasion) & surprisingly, didn't freak out.
The angmor 1s r the freaky 1s.. suddenly jump out & scare the shxt out of u kind.. no thanx. No horror for me. I don't like to kena "chua". -
I used to be scared by slasher flicks like friday 13th but not anymore now. more scared by the eye. especially the ah ma voices in the hospital. usually just a thud in my heart after a scary scene, won't close my eyes.
How can death be scared by horror??? -

Slasher flicks r in fact lame n not as scary as today's series of Asian horror films. I think the scariest I've watched thus far is Shutter. For the record, i didnt have a choice coz all my frens wanted to watch it.. not tt i mind having my girl frens burying their heads on my shoulders. i was never a horror fan until now. please recommend me the scariest movie ever -
me n my frens used to laugh in horror flicks.sometimes its quite funny when the ghost jump out. like the ju-on boy..we use to laugh n say why he nv wear anything den run around..
