  I think for foreigners who wish to purchase and own a property in Malaysia, you could purchase 2 units within the same place to qualify for the minimum purchasing value of RM1,000,000 as required by the new property regulations for foreigners. You could enquire the agents to confirm this.

  my advice is do your homework before you invest.
  
  If they are so good - the local would have brought them, or some big investors - why asking small monkeys like you all to invest ?
  
  I have friends that did business & buy properties oversea and have learn painful lessons of - money and properties get struck there.
  
  Remember - a country like china and malaysia laws can change over night - they can suddenly  change policy of foreign ownership of house or withdraw of money. You may find your house and money suddenly lock up and untouchable.
