FOr the moment you can see- the number of ang mohs there- is really a minute sprinkling only....Most of the residenctial houses if bought by Singaporeans are ethnically either Indian or Malays.

Talking about investments (esp in stocks), important thing to note is that theres two main strategies.
One is to accumulate a stable stock through dollar cost averaging so as to get a good average price and sell at a future price after all these economic instability is past us and the price recovers. Meanwhile if you have a good stock which gives regular dividends, you would be profiteering through that as well.
Another way is to buy and sell high volume stocks (goldenagri). But you need to do your homework as well and know the market well for this short-term strategy.
For those noobs, I'd recommend getting unit trusts and sub funds like those in investment-linked life policies (insurance + investment) which are basically a compilation of many different company stocks.
For those with a lot of money, I'd recommend investing in property for now. Property in general is always safer. Important things are how much loan you take out and the interest on that and the rental yield.
