Does anyone here know about investing in or trading precious metals like gold and silver? Is it a good way to make money?
i wanna trade open a/c with broker like Oanda.com since they have office in S'pore and you can trade in any number of units you like...............
Forex? I was talking more about buying bullions and such. By the way, when it comes to forex, do the broker fees cost a lot?
Spot Gold or the industry called it -
Loco-London Gold (traded like Foreign Exchange). There are swap interests charges.
or
You can try the COMEX Gold (futures contracts) of certain delivery months.

If you're a private individual, your best option would be to trade precious metal-linked ETF's (ie. SPDR which tracks gold). Essentially, these ETF's trade like stocks with the underlying driver being the precious metals.
As with all securities, there's no certain "good way to make money" if you do not know what you're doing...
so the guy wants to buy coins or bars..................i think buy online far cheaper than in S'pore..............
buy those silver rounds instead as they're cheaper.........
silver has far far far greater profit potential than gold..........
anyway when the stock markets crash again...............metal prices will crash as well............
if metals go up and stocks crash..................PREPARE FOR GREAT DEPRESSION 2..............
