UOB has declared dividends of 20 cents. I am going to buy UOB at 19.020 1 lot only. I intend to hold the stock till it climb up to 20 or more before selling. all the shares been falling for the past 2 days, so its a buying opportunities now.
Hmmm. can try buy SPH. dividend wise is 7 - 9 cents twice a year. worth trying. ;)
SPH dividends is not so little la
around 7 cts mid year
18 cts end of year
(My average 3.65)
Starhub is 5 cts per quarter. But my price is $1.90 for 10 lots.
Alternatively, you can buy REITs and Trusts. Those I have include
AIMSAMPIREIT (70 lots, I really believe in this)
Starhill Global REIT
CapitaCommercial Trust
CitySpring
Keppel Green Trust
Of these, my capital gains are between 10% to 50% excluding dividends received, with the exception of KGT.
GRP is also a good company for dividends.
Do your own homework.
Disclaimer: I own the shares above.
Anyone checked out UOB Kay Hian?

are you attracted to buying shares because they gave up attractive dividends yield or do you hold for the long term?
top dividend stocks in singapore. anyone care to share if there is more?
SGX gives dividends a few times per year. but if you calulate based on percentage payout (dividend against current share price), it might not be too worth to invest in it.
UOB gives you 200 & OCBC gives you 150 if you own 1 lot of their shares.
