i never said i wasn't
i only told people to PM if they were interested
even if you have no $ it doesn't matter
you can still PM to talk about forex investment and i can provide u the link to the video.
Its a good video because it highlights how the forex market and promise of riches appeal to our human weakness.
And why the market is setup for us to LOSE money.
The market is unpredictable. I maybe winning today but losing tomorrow.
The important thing is that I know why i am losing and why i am winning.
And remember. Knowledge is free. Never pay for knowledge.
forex trading can be used as another source of income, not as the only income.
that is what vitto is trying to tell the rest.
There are too many smoke screen thrown on day trading as the complete sole income replacement and making you millionaire.
It may be possible after many years of failure and bankrupt as trading itself is against human common sense and emotions.
That is why most of the people failed as it was never meant to be a fast get-rich scheme.
There is actually no need for vitto84 to prove anything as it is his way of life and he is just sharing it with the rest as good will.
If you think that he is selling a course, just ignore him.
If you are curious, you can PM him for more information.
But, you have to open your mind as regard to trading.
No one in this world can predict the market trend and there are loses coupled with winning.
Therefore, no need to prove him wrong as there are actual cases of people making money from trading.
Okay....noted. Thanks. Good luck!

Agreed. But stocks have better chances of making $ compared to FX.
Every one have their own methods of making extra income.
There is no right or wrong methods.
Just the one that suit you is the best.
It is an additional skill set that one have to pick up as you never know when the cost cutting saw will fall on you.
Knowledge is assessable every where in the internet.

I am planning to buy Aussie and NZ dollars (high interest rates). Minimal risk.
Demon..........now is about the worst time to buy AUD or NZD.............
they're both very near all time highs..............and when the stock markets crashes again...........expect drops of 30% for both..............also that's when they start cutting interest rates again...........
AUD was at 7.5% while NZD was at 8.5%..................now only half.............
Years ago, I asked my friend who was working as an FX dealer in a big US bank what he thinks about these FX courses and their so called "gurus" and "mentors" and he LOL.
These course instructors make money from selling courses and trading programs - not through trading the markets.
He told me that if it was true the "guru" or "mentor" could make even a 10-20% annual return on his own capital trading for a few years consistently, those big banks would hire these gurus immediately to trade for the bank and handle their millions of dollars.
So far, he has not heard of any banks poaching these gurus.
Yet.

my mentor was from a big bank =)
he's 60+ and retired.
its good to be skeptic
in fact most of all forex "gurus" are really not that spectacular
i have seen people who do previews trading blindfolded
and there are actually people who fall for it. its really amazing.
but like i said. don't pay for knowledge because its free.
when u pay make sure its for something else, something that gives u an edge

your kind of story about mentor from big banks also very common lah.................virtually every course out there has a mentor from a big bank..........
then why he wanna teach instead of making big bucks in banks.............??
and if you say he retired from big bank............then why teach people ???
they'll say they wanna help other traders...........but then why charge high fees for the courses then ???
anyway why so secretive about identity of your mentor ??? after all he wants more students so he can get more course fees mah ???
is he Dirk Du Toit from Sth Africa ???
he is already retired comfortably.
he used to attend a lot of forex workshops; just to learn more
long story
but it was from there that he met a fellow trader who asked him to teach; so my mentor said if he can find 10 people then he would teach them.
subsequently the fellow trader did manage to find students and that was where he started his 1st course.
my mentor always say that he can teach not because he is a "guru" but because he lost most money than all of us combined. this is the life lessons that he has gained from trading and using so many different types of methods.
I can tell u upfront my mentor will not teach EVERYONE who applies.
he has rejected students before.
because if you don't take up trading with the right mentality or financial state u will lose money.
he always tells people. if you have no money. don't trade.
I am sorry to say this as well but i agree with him. If you cannot afford to trade. DON'T!
Trading unfortunately is not a poor man's game. i know people don't like to hear this and think we look down on them. But this is fact. I rather not earn ur money than to lead u down the wrong path and make u lose EVEN more.
u don't have to be so hostile and rude. you don't know his story and u don't bother to ask nicely.

Don't tell me it's that job advertisement that appears in the saturday Recruit section every few weeks.
I always wonder why it keeps appearing asking people to apply for a job there.
Charting is like predicting prices in the future based on outdated data.

There are no other investment that is safer leh....if can get 5% annual return is good enough for me! I know now the interests for those currencies are lesser, but still its good returns.

Vitto84,
There is a local forex training, if I canrecall correctly, it is called T3B or something like that.
The trainer claimed to teach trench trading. Any comment on that? I am open to comment and opinion.
If you not comfy posting online, can PM me your opinion. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
No we don't "hire" traders. and ask them to pay us for a job.
i will pm u abt t3b because what i have to say shouldn't be discussed openly

So can u reveal how much $ u made per month with FX and how big is your account?

brudder.....investing in AUD and NZD just for the interest is like what those guys are saying..........
''picking up pennies in front of a steamroller.............''
a lot of guys did that in the past and when stock markets crash...........AUD and NZD lose up to 30% of their value !

aiyah............so Vitto is some guy working for T3B and then advertising here ah..............say lah..........
the kind of things T3B teach can get free from internet liao lor.............all the strategies based on indicators right ?
then they show people charts when their methods work.................i doubt they'll show you a chart where prices are ranging............they only show charts that have strong trends............
all the mentors there claim in the ads that they're multi-millionaires liao...............what for teach people then ? a waste of time and effort............

Ermm......there is this thing called value investing and it doesn't depend on a crystal ball (like chartist) to predict prices.

The fact that he mentioned "we" means he is working for a group of people.
Likely trying to get people to attend their courses or buy their products.
If I can make a comfortable living trading myself, I will just keep quiet and make the money myself without telling people.
I seriously won't tell people how much money I can make or even teach them.
Eroding your own profits.
