I bought DBS at $11 last year in 2009, now the price is $15.30 based on friday trading. DBS is also giving out dividends. I am thinking like after getting dividend, and if DBS rose to $15.50, can sell and cash in the shares.
or should I wait for DBS to rise to $16 or even $17 then sell? I am wondering if DBS can rise to $20 in the next 1-2 years?
sell liao lor before prices drop after dividend paid out.
when Dow drop again big time, you can buy again.
ya now with the greece debt and EURO thingy going on, is thinking of selling to cash in. even if it dropped, wont dropped till so steep like $13. even if it does, still expensive to buy at $13. maybe can buy OCBC shares like now like 8 plus dollars.
market might go up a bit more until more bad news come piling up................the big Jewish banks and hedge funds are trying to sucker in more money....................
why don't you try selling ?
DBS is not a cheap share to buy even if it dropped to $13 from $15.30. if u buy 2 lot, its 13k * 2 lot = 26k
26k can be someone else one year salary or even more liao.
My Capland <$2, my Starhub <$2, my Breadtalk <$0.40, SPH $3.65, ST Engg $2.28
All I didn't sell also
I'm there for long term dividends collection
DBS dropped till 14.30, can still drop until 13 plus when the bell open today. good time to buy DBS at 13 plus.

STI cup and handle breakdown:
Appears to be backtest.

I dun need to. No rush.
From the look of the Candlestick Bar charts above, seems quite certain that the recent bear trend has broken the Fibonacci Retracement levels (even 61.8%)'. Almost all moving averages have turned down... the indicators are currently doing an adjustment... Have you have your safety belt on ?

This is just in theory. In practical, I'm doing other things as well, and I think could go faster than that by end of 10 years?
