hey people! i've just discovered that CIMB is having a promo in stock trading!
The commission is only $1 flat instead of the usual $25 regardless of contract value! which means 1 bid increase can make money liao!

as long as you open a new trading account with them, you get the promotion. however its only applicable to the first 5 trades. so for the 1st 5 trades you make in the singapore stock exchange, its just $1 per trade. if im not wrong the promo ends 31st may, which means you must use up all the 5 trades by that date...
i think they are trying to gain more market cap that explains the aggressive promo which we see all around these days.
