Very true leh.
He still working, and still fit mah, so why stop working?
But the thing is that I seldom see him doing anything besides Forex at home... That was why my entire family was shocked.
Non-farm payroll in US is squeezing up productivity. Unemployment at 9.7%.
Guess the USD$ is back on an uptrend. The question is, how long will it last.
He has the choice to stop working mah.
In the very long run, forex is a zero sum game, and a small time forex trader is just attempting to beat the market maker at his/her game. Not only that, zilch is contributed to the economy, which is akin to earning consistently from the casino. That's why I won't go into forex
walao dun say like dat leh...

sway ah............i miss my eur/usd buy by 15 pips ..................didn't drop as low as i thought...............i was aiming at 1.25...............

Ok ok. Now I have to wake up at 4a.m in the morning. Have to prepare for a crazy day ahead.
I seriously dunnoe which position to take. Is that Dow freak incident a sign of things to come? Short on the USD instead? Currently what I'm going to do now(as in tomorrow morning), is that I'm going to short heavily on the €URO... I hope I'm right.
I don't have that much time to trade, but I've prepared some funds over the last 2 months, ready to strike at undervalue equities again.
Then again, I was wondering if I should go for an oil etf as well. Oil price has fallen by quite a bit. And then again, I dunno if I really have the time to monitor as I really have that many things to do :x
5 yrs to 32 yrs old... not sure if I can achieve what I set out to achieve by then.... :(
whoa.
ur portfolio will be huge if so.
Forex alone is driving me nuts. Because I also have to worry about stocks in Europe and United States as they affect their currency a lot.
Now not very huge, but dividends sufficient to cover most of my basic expenses.

lucky u
Forex is taking its toll on my health(and my family's). Can really start seeing my parents hair turn grey, and even I(still young hor) fall sick very often.
Sometimes I really question myself. Is all this money-making... Necessary?

forex is very high risk, win a lot but also can lose a lot. at this moment, I suggest you short Euro, USD, pounds.

LOL!
But seriously. How do you short €uro, and US$ at the same time? Likewise how you short the GBPound with the US$? The currencies go in tandem leh. Forex is buy one, sell one. How to sell both?

I don't know how it will affect you because I don't play forex.
Basically, I don't find any stress in my work or my portfolio. In fact, I'm enjoying myself :)
Who says one cannot enjoy and play, yet still make $? I don't seek for promotion nor chiong till very late at work. I do when I have to, and enjoy using my analytical mind on those issues.
I'm still on my goal to earn $30k per month eventually, yet still enjoy myself and not take on much additional stress :)
now shares dropped so much, time to go in to buy. but it will continue to drop, dun buy first. watch the market movement first. stay at sidelines and see price movements.

Want to go in and buy, you also need to have the funds.
I'm currently only 7% cash, but this cash level will slowly increase and my dividends and salaries start to filter in.
Forex is leveraged trading, risk big of coz.

they also want to buy stocks too
But if equities drop to extremely low (if ever), I will go with DBS or OCBC share financing since I have a fair bit in blue chips, and leverage up 100% (max 200%) to buy.
