Hi,
I am Jude, currently an undergrad from standfield college. i am in my second year of banking and finace( UOL). i was hoping if there is someone to advice me on what modules/topics that i should take, specialize in, or might be interesting,
I was planning to become an investment banker. pleade do advice on that too.
Consult your senior lecturer Vincent Seet for advice lah.
He was also a UOL graduate in Banking and Finance too.
He will gladly advise on the modules to take to become an investment banker.
okay thank you
If you want to be an investment banker, you might need additional qualifications like the CFA to make you stand out.
Seriously, just a basic banking degree is nothing these days.

times has changed,
My friend grad from UOL Banking and Finance, started her first job in call centre.
I know of CFA grads selling insurance.
If possible, get as many additional qualifications as you can - ACCA, MBA, CFA, FRM, CAIA, PRM, PhD, SOA.
Yes, I know taking more of these certifications means you will have no life for the next few years, but trust me, they will help.
What other finance / banking / risk certifications have I missed out?
