I think we ought to be bottoming out....
Whether bottoming out or not, still have to consider the large trillion dollar debt time bomb at the Federal Reserve which can go off at any second.
What will happen to the treasury bill market if China and Japan starts dumping them?

Like what u say, I hope the day never comes... and I believe they just need to have one bad news to send the market back to march low again, if not close to that area. Investor confidence is still not strong yet to what I see, although it is gaining some recently. Anyway this is just my opinion. :)
Just checked should be US$ 3.27 trillion, China holds US$ 768 billion and Japan holds US$ 687 billion in treasury bonds and bills as of Mar 2009.
I think either the yuan or the euro will rise above the dollar like the dollar rose over the pound
