keeping money in safebox but not bank

  If you don't want interest then go ahead.   Instead of receiving interest from the safe box account, you gotta pay for the use.   Not worth it in monetary term.

  If u keep a small amount OK lah.  HUge amount better deposit in banks to earn interest.

  Given the times of uncertainty, although it's good to keep money in bank to earn interest, it's fine to keep some 'reserves' at home too.

  I don think by keeping money in the bank is the best way to earn interest, how much they can offer us? I don't know how much is bank's FD rate now? Anyone aware about it?
