The Oracle Mobile Applications User Experience team is traveling from the USA to conduct research in Singapore! We are interested in meeting individuals that use a mobile device for their job. We are looking for the following types of people to participate in our research:
Portfolio Manager
This individual manages investment portfolios as part of his/her job and uses a mobile device to manage contacts and check information online, etc.
Individuals that take part in our research are offered 500 SGD in the form of an American Express Gift Card or voucher.
Activity details
When: April 28 - May 2, 2008
Where: Singapore
How:
1) 30 - 60 MIN – Introduction: “Get-to-know-you” interview. Initial meeting to discuss what will be done and to learn a little about your job.
2) 3 - 4 HOURS (depending on role) - Observation: We would like to “go-along” with you as you do your work or perform your day to day activities. During this time, you’ll talk and we’ll listen as you interact with your mobile device. Based on what you do and say, we may also ask some follow-up questions.
3) 1 HOUR - De-brief: After we’ve completed the “walk-along”, we would like to conduct an interview to follow up on the observations and to ask some additional questions regarding your thoughts toward a handheld device, some mobile applications, and where the future of mobile is going.
4) Photo Activity: We would also like to ask you to a shoot a roll of film that documents your mobile activities for a two to three day period.
