Hmm, I would suggest attending those seminars organised by the various broking houses. They usually organise course for newbies.

Seminars are quite expensive so i was thinking of starting off by reading a book.
Anyway, any seminars to recommand? I can't really find any after doing a search for them on the internet.

Books by Alexander Elder and Martin Pring is good to start. You can google their names, and read a bit on their book reviews.
