  i'm a new investor and i'm into US markets
  
  reason being i'm more familiar with IT industry, so i opt to invest there
  
  bad thing is can't monitor whole night and more volatile

  Dont monitor whole night leh.....will burnout easily one....Just swing trade...Swing it for a few days/ weeks. You night-trader? I mean, daytrader?
  
  For IT, I just swing QQQ options, thats all.
