  Might I add... most people find it offensive to talk about money
  and most don't share any thing they have ..
  
  Hence I started to feel that I should never advice people on interveiws and jobs or anything. Cause I make no money and all people want from me are favours and free things.

  You should start making friends with people for ERA, Coldwell Bankers, Propnex, AIA, Great Eastern and NTUC income.

  yeah and they will want me to buy insurance after insurance

  step1. save. save up an amount enough to start investing.
  
  step2. make your choice of what to invest in after looking around and ppl's opinion.

  I learnt a $4000 lesson by selling a share too early.
  
  But heck...lifes like that.
