AFC System in Singapore

  Hello, 

  I am planning to travel in Singapore, and I am looking for information about the transportation systems. I am wondering to know that:

  Does Singapore unify their AFC (automated fare collection) system?

  Now we have machines collect our fares, but sometimes it's annoy to keep 2 or 3 cards in hand since there are different systems. Especially, when traveling, it definitely will be more convenient to have just one card for all systems if they are unified. Then we can use one card(ticket) taking both MRT and bus. Unify different transportation system will be good for travelers who travel among different cities.

   

  Is Singapore doing this?

  1 card for everything...

  u can even pay for taxi and even buy macdonald with it
