New campaign to encourage commuters to give up their seats?

  If there is a new campaign whereby paper hooks would be placed on the pole where the handles are and each paper hook has a nice message written to request for a seat. e.g "you look kind, can I have your seat please?" would you use the paper hooks? 

  
  If possible, could you also suggest ways in which how we can improve this or get commuters to give up their seats?
