STOMPer Jerome was appalled to see a glass panel beside
the Reserved Seat breaking into pieces all of a sudden at Admiralty MRT
station when he was on the train towards Marina Bay.
Said the STOMPer:
"I was on the train towards Marina Bay when the glass panel beside the Reserved Seat suddenly broke into pieces.
"No one was leaning against it, and it just broke at Admiralty MRT station.
"A
passenger pressed the emergency button to alert the MRT staff about it.
All the passengers were then told to alight and board the next train.
"No one was hurt in the process."
Failed assasination!
the glass was manufactured incorrectly.happens to all glass products that had skipped a critical manufacturing process.or someone used a catapult and a ball bearing.

Glass panel shatters on SMRT train, no one injured
SINGAPORE: A glass panel shattered on board a train on Friday. Train operator SMRT said no one was injured in the incident.
An SMRT spokesperson said a passenger on board the North-South Line train alerted staff to the incident by activating the emergency communication button around 12.10pm.
Mr Jay Kay Zhang,
who wrote in to Channel NewsAsia about the incident, said he activated
the button after hearing the glass shatter just as the train approached
Admiralty Station from Woodlands Station.
Mr Zhang added that he did not see anyone standing near or leaning on the glass panel.
According to him, an elderly couple sitting near the panel were in shock.
Mr Zhang said SMRT staff rushed to the scene within a few minutes.
SMRT said the affected train has been withdrawn from service.
It will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the shattered glass panel.
The
train operator said that the window and glass panels in its train
cabins are installed with tempered glass that are tougher than normal
glass.
Tempered glass breaks into small fragments with smooth edges to reduce the risks of injury.

oh wow no one standing there
how much did MRT actually save on their maintenance, seriously?
Save on the train also.
Maybe the weather too hot and air con too cold.
maintainence could just be washing and other little stuff
Thankfully, no one was injured.
The glass panel only passed 2 classes of the cheaper better faster test.
It was cheaper and it got destroyed faster.
even the glass is pissed
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
