speaking of the obvious eh
they cant be tat STUPID thinkin cable tie can hold
a loaded carriage is about 50 m/ton * (6 in total?)
cable tie for that ex-CEO to attend court.
they could try steel cables next time though
:p
Yes, we are paying million dollars to talents who dun produce anything but expect other to produce for wage increase, define flooding as ponding, accept MRT breakdown as unavoidable, pay $8 for heart operation, wasted billion dollars on a ponzi scheme company.
Now we have a NEW block blaster coming !
"Honey, WHO Shrinked the HDB flat in Singapore ???"
Cable tie to secure a part onvibrating metal rail ?
The more they inquire, the nil SOP that Lui is talking about.
Got SOP ?
Another Block blaster with you in it:

well, they were looking at the 60.14% who believed blatant lies...
it worked for the politicians, why not the train company since the audience is pretty much the same?
60% of Sgreans are zombies
It is 85% in 2016.
Not more 60.1%.
That is the past.
Was watching the news about increasing the number of trains.
Who is paying for the new trains ?
Is the rail safe to take the extra wear ?
Lui-s is really a joke.

are they real people in the first place?
Cable tie is for securing soft materials like Mustaffa's plastic bags.
Why didn't they think of super glue?
i wonder which cock gave the thumbs up to use cable ties.

alamak u r a genius
1 drop can hold an elephant
Remember, it must be those "special" glue or the glue will also fail
Lolz
Actually i think industrial duct tape stronger and better.
But what do average commuters like us know?
i saw from free tv at night in oz last few months ago.
think a claw is something mechanical that goes up and down contacting with electrical contacts of the train....i suppose the bolt sheared off there and all they must have desperately used cable ties .think claw is designed to like go u and down in order to send electricity to the train from rails.but still even if u had 30 heavy duty cable ties how u expect it to be movable to keep contact with electrical train contacts??!!!!it will still break off after 3 days of usage.they should just do it properly.that kind of job will maximum take 1 hr only because they had a skinny small french negro 18 yr old kid knocking the bush or bolt out from frances' most modern train and installing it for electrical contacting.not a big job it seems.
actually cable ties wouild work but engineering wise its niot designed for that sort of job.the alignment would be out after 1 day.there is heat involved too which the cable ties might not be designed for.
solution :get spare parts....even a simple machined metal bar with a few screw holes from some secondary school workshop will do the trick for 6 months or more.just pay the teacher in charge of workshop some $$$$ and free mrt trips.

so thats a claw?sounds like they were too afraid to touch it even thats why end up using cable ties.from looks it seems they could have fixed it without turning power off even!!!!!!!????cab;e ties are bad choice as its electrical areas and would be very warm.
i suppose the insulator broke off and claw is unable tosecure itself to anything.think do a few welds should do.
if insulator is not broken then remove the bolts if nthey are totaaly damaged .is not a big deal unless they have never worked at all and just clean train tracks only.if the entire claw and attachment points was damgaed severely and they have a new claw from stores but cant find a way to screw it in............i suggest u rebuild the entire screw hole isnide the insulator.its not a big job and they have better components availiable in hardware stores too!
but cable ties attach claw to what??it will still slidfe off and u even need to add in chewing gum to stop it from sliding even!!!maybe they did put chewing gum but too embarrased to say they used it too.:)
since its a support system..it should be welded or tightened by real nuts and bolts.u cant use a paper clip or cable ties to secure a buildimng structure or even the chair u sit on.
i suggest all thise who made the cable tie on rail to be fired immediately and sent to prison asap.

from the drawin . wen they said dislodged ,most probably is the spring clip tat holds the claw had came off
the claw is supporting the entire metal rail.that claw by right should be attached to a strong point thats very rigid....all i can seee is claw secured to insulator .so i suppose insulator is fixed to stationary strong point.without a strong claw to fixed areas..the railings might get shifted....damaging rails and undergarrage and some cases eventually misalignement and derailment at other points of rail lines.
