SINGAPORE: Commuters can expect to see their waiting times reduced when travelling on the North East Line during morning peak periods.
From March 19, SBS Transit will be adding 60 more train trips per week.
These will reduce waiting times for commuters during the shoulder of morning peak hours.
On
weekdays between 6.45 am and 7.30 am, the average waiting time will be
reduced by up to two minutes from the current 5.5 minutes.
With the latest addition, a total of 230 train trips per week would have been added to the NEL since 2011.
