CCL further delay?

Circle Line to be fully opened in Q4 2011
Commuters can look forward to the opening of the Circle Line from Marymount to HarbourFront in the fourth quarter of this year. The Circle Line extension from Promenade to Marina Bay Station will also be ready in 2012. To meet the projected increase in ridership for the Circle Line, LTA will also be purchasing some 16 additional Circle Line trains which are scheduled to arrive around 2015. This will increase the total fleet of Circle Line trains by about 40%.We thought it suppose to be in operation somewhere middle of this years, than now year end, still more than 10 months to go......
What happen for further delay? CCL will be fully operating in 2015?that it somethings we ready have to look forward years by years....

I dont think they ever announced CCL4/5 will be operational in mid-11? if anything a Zaobao article from last year mentioned it is likely to be the end of the year, in line with the figures given now.
and they are simply buying 16 new trains for CCL. CCL1-5 + marina bay extension will be fully operational by 2012.

Most probably mid-July if everything regrading on the construction or whatsoever is settled.

2012 is spur line or extension. That one e most add 1 train nia.
Then 2016 is procurement..

Yes, easier for everybody when something like this open during school holidays. I will travel all 29 stations in one ride, how's that? Then to VIVO or RWS ......

Haw Par Villa station entrance doesn't even have a roof as of now.
Only the supporting frame (the pillars) has been built. Can see the lift shaft. Ventilation buildings next to YESS Centre look completed with some minor works going on.They are building the roof of the overhead bridge connecting Labrador Park station to PSA Building. As for the station entrance, can't see clearly as it is a distance from the main road.
Telok Blangah and Pasir Panjang stations completed. There is a new bus bay outside Telok Blangah station, but no bus shelter yet. Also, a new bus shelter will be build outside Pasir Panjang station.

It was expected and planned long ago to open CCL Stage 4 & 5 during the Last quarter of the year 2011. Since when did they announce that its going to open in June ("Middle of the year") i have not heard of such news. Stage 4 & 5 are opening according to schedule and for Marina Bay Extension as well. So Since When Did They delay the CCL Opening? The 2015 Just means that New Trains will arrive in 2015, Not the whole line complete in 2015.

CCL stage 4 and 5 were scheduled to open in 2010. It was officially stated in LTA website.
Fitness First Fusionopolis is conveniently located near the AYE, Holland Village and Buona Vista MRT. A Fusionopolis shuttle bus service is available from Buona Vista MRT
. It will be served by the One-North MRT line from early 2010.
