It is packed first then if you are standing it would be hot and stuffy because warm air rises. The cool air would be around your legs.
I usually encounter "no aircon" in the first coach. I move back to the other coach or get out and catch the next train.

I wonder why they increase fare and yet they ply those without air con on the track?
Maybe we should voice out our concern.
