Should have use the budget for N-S Expressway for more MRT lines. Why build more expressway, COE itself is sufficient in controlling the car population.
The elites will tell you, it's nothing personal, it's just business.

Do you know how pack the train was at 2200h? There are people at certain stations were not able to get into the train, it was not easy to move from cabin to cabin.
it really sucks to smell everybody's breath and sweaty armpits :)
If you are unhappy with the transport services the operators are giving you, go take taxi lar.

That's passive, why should we submit to undesirable conditions?
If the train aircon breakdown, I can understand. However if they deliberate switch of the air-cond or set it at an unbearable temperature, then that's extortion.

How do you know the aircon is off?
The Kawasaki original black train does have aircon issue.

Coz people radiate heat also wad, not aircon not working.
Stop grumbling lar.
Not happy, go pay $50,000 for a COE and top it off with another $50,000 to buy a car.
Yes, that's $100,000 in total to buy a small car so that you can just enjoy the air con.

There is, just that there is too much body heat in the train.

How do you know if the air-con was 'deliberately switched-off'? How do you know the Train Operator didn't set the thermostat at the optimum temperature?
Dunno la.
The original black trains has a/c circulation prob one. Feedback, reply say they'll spend more effort on a/c maintainance on these trains

'IF' ... ...
I took the tran from Tampines, when I board the train, it was already stuffy and packed. No air was blowing from the air cond vent. Only when the train arived at Bugis, that I begin to feel some air blowing.
The driver is definitely anticipating big crowd from Bugis to Outram, maybe he has overlooked that the train cabins already sardine packed, that the train couldn't move on for up to 5 minutes cos the door unable to close.
I had a seat and seated middle of end cabin and I am complaining. I wondeing those standing by the train door must be cursing.
If someone fainted in the train, can they sue SMRT?
I ever saw someone collapsed, fortunately someone was quick to notice her and give up his seat.

Imagine next time, they are going to increase the population by another few hundred thousand.
And no, these few hundred thousand people will not all be driving cars.
Well its called the Mass Rapid Transit for a reason.
actually i call it the Mess Rabid Transit
If you consider this chaos, consider THIS:

We Singaporeans don't hear them complaining and if they do, the government would be spending billions buliding lines there.

Nice.
But I really don't give a crap about the transit system in Japan because I only take the MRT in Sg.
So say, government is already pacifying us by doing all this kinda things, I shall think it this way:
In Singapore, a Singaporean will faint.
In Tokyo, the same Singaporean would sofocate.
