Massive long queue at GTMs

LTA's created mess again
Close to 50 at any time waiting to queue up to purchase/ return single trip tickets or top up farecard at HBF tis afternoon.
Can't they go into using chips like Taipei MRT to be more efficient?
What's so important about cost when it starts to cost us our efficiency reputation due to the influx of tourist?

PAP's policy of flooding Singapore with aliens has caused extremely serious disruptions of social life of Singaporeans.
They have to be voted out in 2011, the PAP.

rough estimation laI would say this whole mess need not occur had we followed Taipei MRT's method.

If you are such a genius, I don't understand why you're not working with the public transport companies.
As for me, I'm such a farking genius, that's why my talent ain't wasted working for them.

because geniuses will push up the level of competition inside the companies, and no employees and bosses want that to happen.

Let me correct. Why are you posting nonsense in this forum, because of PAP's policy!

Get rid of the whole $1 deposit crap. Either make it so that the single journey tickets can be inserted directly into the faregates, create separate machines for deposit refund, or change to tokens. The current arrangement esentially doubles the line at GTMs.

Both extremes spotted. No political flame here ok? But facts is, there is a need to inflow foregin people but not too much, which is like nowadays almost half of the people are not locals. (Oh ya, the post is removed)

i noticed most, or all stations once had more GTMs, now had less... AMK used to have 8.. now left 6. and always 1-2 will breakdown.
nowadays GTMs always long long queues liao..

Those installation at Bus Int did not materialise -
IIRC Jurong East only has like 4 GTM. At least I topped up off peak, so I didn't get mobbed.
