  There is no need to speculate, but the shopping centre will bear a new name of Junction Ten. Whether the station will rename or not, that is up to speculation.

  Acually I really think kallang should change name. Other than Kallang Rd, what is the stn named for? I Rather 'Kallang' be used for DT24 Kallang Bahru.

  farrer Park stn -> Race Course stn, 

    because of the confusion of Farrer Pk & Farrer Road stations.

  ISTR that Kallang was supposed to be Geylang, and Aljunied was Kallang, or something similar...

  Esplanade's naming has been explained long ago. It was chosen by votes, War Memorial was one of the shortlisted names.

  And Punggol LRT too. What Damai there, and what Oasis there for? What is Kadaloor anyway.

   

  BTW, these are more like Chinese and Malay or even Tamil name. So it is acceptable. I dun understand why you suggest Kangkar instead of Bakau or Rumbia to become Rivervale. (And that area is big in LRT sense since it covers 3 stops out of it)

  Kallang River which is right next to the station.

  Nicoll Hwy should have been named Golden Mile if it was still at the original site before the collapse.
