Hi Dragonaxe - thanks for your comments.
Your para 1: I dont think the poor victim will feel any pain as unconsciousness will be immediate upon lst impact.
Para 2: I mentioned only l problem i.e. depression which can be due to many factors. I am not too sure that by voting against the PAP, depression will be reduced. I will agree with u if u were to say that if more were to vote for the opposition (reliable/good ones!!), then Singapore will become a more democratic, just & open country with lesser restrictions/curbs & not forgetting reducing the sky high salaries of our Ministers lol!!!.

There are many factors that warrant a persons depression.
The family need to know why he jumped down.
Only then do the public knows what really happen.
We can only assume this and that.
Still don't understand. The jumper suicide at Westbound front or back on the track??

From the back.

how does it appear from the back..unless the train never e-brake and stops normally...
SMRT should educate people not to jump ba, put up poster everywhere in mrt station saying not to jump
Maybe 2011 before train coming should do like this:
Train is coming
Wait at platform
Please do not jump
Don't go die at MRT
LOVE YOUR RIDE

Wait at platform (Train is coming)
Please do not jump (Train is coming)
Stay ALIVE (Start Queuing)
LOVE YOUR RIDE (LOVE YOUR RIDE)

Well, u look @ the Admiralty suicide video in 2006. The fact is he had made the model and probably he should write a book called <MRT suicide for dummies> by:
1: Always suicide @ Tailwall of the platform. This is the fact that train comes from tailwall side of the platform with full 60 + km/h under AM (Or about 50km/h in Redhill due to the fact that trains in redhill is slower --- which had then saved a person life in this year incident?)
2: <Sensored due to grumesome violence involved of squashing a person.>

1st paragraph: Try squashing your head on floor first while skydiving on a 25 (anything above 10) floors.
2nd paragraph: Usually you X (Cross) on the party you intend to vote. Apparently this is the S.O.P for most / all democracies country.
Just curious, which train hit the man? Is it C151, C651 or C751B? And what train set no.?
+1 Me too!
Is it possible that when the train approaching the station, before reaching the first section of the station, the train should fully slow down to a near halt and then move into the station at snail pace (for temporarily until the door is being built)?

this will have deep consequences on train runtimes, especially during peak hours when trains are already bunching. a train cannot accelerate and brake as quickly as a car or bus.

Confirmed? Every time, C651 always get incident. Not train fault then someone suicide...
I think when he go down track, he electrocuted by the 3rd rail liao, then body fall to the tracks, train e-brake(got distance when braking mah) the rain run over the body, then got heavy cuts and squashed lungs, heart, etc. cuz of that, died

No, he might not be in contact with 3rd rail.

The return current on the running rails can be safely considered as non-lethal, however if the rails are broken there may be a current present.

But the return current may knockout someone so he when unconscious his body fell on to the tracks

Did you read clearly? And no discussion on who to vote please. Please CROSS on the one you support, not tick.

Too true, usually such cases will NOT contact 3rd rail one, consider u must go down on the thrid rail to touch it. (People see the thrid rail white thing is the 3 surfaces out of the 6 where the 3 are excluding from the start and end of the thrid rail. I am referring to the remaining side of the thrid rail where it is not protected.)

Say who. Is C151 frequently tio suicide due to the majority "race" in the EWL / NSL system (Recent ones include 053/054 Bedok, 097/098 Sembawang, 019/020 Tanah Merah? etc) lor, even though Queenstown case might be a C651.
