Ten Mile Junction LRT to be closed for retrofitting works
SINGAPORE: The Ten Mile Junction LRT Station will be temporarily closed from Friday, due to retrofitting works at Ten Mile Junction.
The train operator, SMRT, said with the closure of the station, Bukit Panjang LRT Service C, which operates from Ten Mile Junction, will be withdrawn until the end of 2011.
It said passengers may use existing bus services or take the LRT to the next nearest station, which is a five-minute walk from Ten Mile Junction.
Posters and notices will be put up to inform commuters of the temporary closure.

Today while waiting at Bukit Panjang, a CSO approached us (SBS2779A, Scania96,Me) and asked what are we waiting for. We Replied "Service C" and he replied us with a smile saying that today is the last day of service C and he told us to have a sit since Service C only Comes once every 20 Mins. (he even joked, telling us not to sit at the stairs lah)

I saw in the newspaper weeks ago about BPJ Int moving to somewhere further than TMJ...and start building the air-condition public transport hub with condos(again) above the interchange. BPP should be staying put.

Wow, can they just realign the LRT and integrate with Junction 10 / DTL / Bus interchange. I dont see the point of having Bukit Panjang and Ten Mile Junction station.
