err...there are only 3 elevators on each side.
Redhill - the only MRT station that is shaped like a trapezoid when viewed from above.
Redhill is the smallest MRT station in S'pore. The platforms are NOT parallel to each other. All other stations' platforms are parallel to each other.

Nice one.
Kranji has the most number of faregates
I think inside station toilet very hard to find except Paya lebar and Bugis I only noticed.Any ideas where else, sometime need to go but don't wanna get out of station gate?
@langer68
I don't think all MRT stations have toilet. Just like in the pass, no lifts. People / Eldery used Escalator :P

A lot of stations have bathrooms, but I refuse to use them. MRT bathrooms are the worst bathrooms I've ever seen in my life.

Why? I always went YCK's one.
But I dislike a toilet in the coffee shop.

All MRT station got toilets. Except LRTs and not all MRT exit got lifts.
Speaking about toilets, NOT all MRT stations got toilet. (correct me if I'm wrong, but I need proof!)
And too, I got a couple of Record breakers: (stations)

And too, I got a couple of Record breakers: (stations)
- EW14 / NS26 Raffles place has the most exits: at eleven
- CC4 / DT15 Promenade the deepest: at 43m deep
- NS24 / NE6 / CC1 Dhoby Ghaut the biggest and second deepest: 29m deep
- EW15 Tanjong Pagar's Xchange biggest Xchange
- NS22 Orchard is most populous station
- NS19 Toa Payoh is oldest: 23 years old
- NS17 / CC15 Bishan NSL first station to built additional platform during operating days
- DT10 Stevens first station to have stacked side platforms
- NE2 ??? first station in NEL not to have island platforms
- EW8 / CC9 Paya Lebar first over-head / underground station
- EW1 Pasir Ris first station to have 1.5m doors installed and operated.
- EW30 ??? highest station in Singapore
(lines):
- The NSL is the oldest line in Singapore, operatead since 1987, and the most populous line.
- The EWL has the most over-head stations.
- The NEL is the only line that has all its stations with island platforms.
- The distance between each CCL stations is the nearest.
- The DTL contain the most stations without island platforms
- The TSL has 4 carriages and 5 + 5 doors.
- The ERL has the least amount of interchanges and the 21km line is the 2nd shortest line after the NEL: 20km.

Sure boh?
1: RFP got the most exits. Usually people say Farrer Park got the most exits.
Well, look it at this way, some of the MRT exits are skipped (Chinatown no Exit B, Clarke Quay no Exit E and Little India or Farrer Park got one skipped exit as well, cant remember.) and hence if you really see Exit I, it might not mean it has 11 exits. Even if it has, 11 / 2 = 6 ~ 7 exits [Note: 2 lines serving RFP] while FRP has only NEL for now.
2: Toa Payoh is not the oldest. It should be between Toa Payoh to Yio Chu Kang.
3: Stevens is not the first to have stacked side platforms. Promenade CCL / DTL Stage 1 is the first. (Not sure if CCL one will be converted to CTH / RFP as the other side might be used for Marina Bay extension)
4: Paya Lebar is also the first and possibly last [underground] station to have middle track.
5: EW30 is also probably the last [aboveground] station to have track in between the 2 ends, not to mention it will be the first and possibly the last station to have 2 middle tracks!
6: DTL is also the first line with the knot shape, despite Rochor / Sungei Road is not an interchange.

- B1 concurse Level

- B3 Ristricted access
- B4 MYM -bound platform
- B5 DTL platform
- B6 DTL platform ================
4. Wrong. Bedok Town Park copycat it.

@ sni1996, who are u refering to??
BTW, DTL is NOT beside existing CCL, if not the 43m is fake ah? (Current CCL PMN not 43m, not even 35m, if not Bras Basah fake one??)
Hence, the island design for PMN is possible, with a few outcomes:
1: Marina Bay extension (Highest)
2: Another unknown line / Future of terminus to it (Speculated Holland Line??)
3: Permeantly dead [Potential stacked island but never be] --- Most likely not
Note: There was a article on Mediacorp (Since then it was removed) regarding PMN's design was quite confusing and people going towards wrong platforms issue, SMRT replied that PMN will be an interchange and such design provide provision to it. But recent article on DTL PMN to be 43m to be deepest of all and it is located about 50cm away from the other side of the CCL platform hints that the current other side is NOT DTL but more likely other lines in future OR Marina Bay extension (Even when it is closed between HBF - MRB, most likely the train will be to DBG - PMN - BSH - HBF - MRB - PMN for current "9" and PMN - MRB - HBF - BSH - PMN - DBG for current "8" assuming that DBG is not a branch line of another line in future [Read: Holland Line], even if DBG - PMN is a branch line, then it might be more tricky, maybe the simplest idea is that ESP - PMN sector will not be using existing CCL but the "new" platform on the other side of PMN while the closed CCL will use only CCL tracks. There are other ideas as well, but too complicated to list them all.)
BTW, Bedok Town Park's plan was most likely changed. Regarding the press' statement is "fake". What addition to Jalan Besar? Joker! It was more likely to have the Bedok Town Park decided to be Paya Lebar CCL or not. And they choose no, meaning there wont be any Bedok extension for DTL, despite I feel it is strategical to connect Bedok North - Centre and South in 1 [branch] line.
Thanks for yr info. Of course I noe that DTL is UNDER CCL platform. But I read the Western Region Line Topic Page 3, Dragonaxe saying the line will be dead forever.
BTP stn layout has 3 stns because of lack of Interchanges in ERL, and that the ERL would be have two extensions; one to PYL and bring the line down towards Marine Parade. BTP stn's extension brings ERL downwards to the Bedok South MRT station, as I guess. these stations may also be triggered to have double island platforms then.
But before that, does PYL have any signs that is is most likely to extend to Marine parade? I believe such signs could simply be seen if the middle track here stops or ends suddenly (south bound), because in future they may dig futher south.
Current CCL not even 29m, and I think the esclator to DTL is going to be thrice as long as Bras Basah's, since Raffles Place is still in 3rd position, yet 21m only. The reason I said Stevens is the first is because by then ,Promenade have two types of design, but Stevens has MAINLY stacked side platforms. I highly agree that Promenade's design could be for future MRT lines, as there must be a reason why such design is needed. CEL won't use the other side of CCL but the very same old CCL tracks. Otherwise, CEL either use DHG or MYM bound. Another reason could be tat DTL earlier deep too crazily and the hill is too steep for DTL go up to the side interchange CCL. Hence, they go down below CCL. But such reason may not answer this mystery.
Due to Nicoll Highwy collapse, LTA quickly shift the at first known as BTL line to promenade. Promenade must have probably planned for stacked side BTW. But since DTL cut in, Promenade simply let DTL in under CCL. But could CCL's layout be due to constraits? Promenade was NOT planned to interchange DTL until 2004 colapse.
