Why is the train from CC9 Paya Lebar not Marymount bound?

  Hi all, how come from Paya Lebar cc9 cannot go to other stations like Bishan etc? That train route is only in operation during peak hours or on friday IIRC. why ah? make it like other normal stations lah. like that more convenient what. thanks.

  No, you must meant the middle platform right? The sides got Marymount bound one. Middle platform is meant to reduce time wait (Frequency) of Marymount / Paya Lebar bound between Paya Lebar to Marymount (Which is rumoured to be extended to One-North when CCL Stage 4 / 5 opens by second half of 2011 (My take / guess: August 2011, same day as when Woodleigh opens)

  i dunno what you mean by middle and side platform. So you mean it is possible to go to Bishan from Paya Lebar anytime of the week?

  Yeah, and if you're transferring from the East West Line, you have to walk to the other platform, further away from the platform to Dhoby Ghaut.

  There's already a topic on this.

  Peak hr time for Marymount to Paya Lebar is 3 mins. Other times are 7 mins. This one to Dhoby Ghaut forever is 3 mins. SMRT use additional train using this method la.

  This is not KTM where you can only travel during certain time of the week. This is SMRT.

  it's the 1st ever single-level, 3-track, 4-platform underground station hence you don't expect anything beyond the track(middle platform) and you thought it was a reflection is it?

  Next time ah, Peak hr take DHG platform lo; Centre track go Marymount - very short waiting time. Dhoby Ghaut I don't know why 7min waiting time; Marymount got LOTS of people?
