Where to put the train carriage in the first place? The train carriage is actually the C151 (They have made 400 such cars which happens to be the oldest ones, since 1 train = 6 cars and there are 66 trains in service on EWL / NSL, there are 4 extras which are used as money train, that has since given to SCDF. Question is, who and why would they buy a C151 without full set, known as no motor car one?)

Juz buy the whole building
juz came back from buying TNP ~

Can scan the article?
it basically says that most of the interested bidders are from recycling companies..
front of train is made of fibre & tracks are partially made of wood..
but due to the transportation, the train would have to be broken into smaller pcs at MTV and transported the broken pcs from there & it can be broken into smaller pcs within a day..
the train tracks are however needs more effort to dismantle as its about 10m long & many big screws holding the tracks together..
OT: The vehicles that are auctioned are de-registered and cannot be put back on the roads.

yup, its meant for those recycling companies who may want their metal..
the engines if they are still in gd working condition can be sold to other countries..
I bet the engines of the old mercedes-benz ambulances are still in gd working condition..
Maybe its for a few hundred bucks only.... Scrap and sold as spare parts (metals)...

If the engines can be in good working condition, then why they must be de-registered and why would other countries wants it?
