I was at the train station early Monday morning going to work and suddenly there was a Lively song playing....Train has arrived Train has arrived !!!
I think the song writer should built on this and write into a full Song....!!!
full song? so 3 mins before train arrive start to play ah?
Train is coming!Train is coming!Train is cominggg!Start queueing up!Love your ride!
I rather hope they focus on the more impt things like over crowding then stupid songs which will pissed more people off.
kinda cute I must say..

the issued of over crowding isn't a MRT issued cause when they planned for capacity that was planned before MRT was built.....it is probably Govt navie planning that ignore consequence.....of capacity.
CCL trains frequency very very horrible ~8mins..
wait until can get impatient or fall asleep.. the song is there to raise everyone spirits..

Almost LOL when the song played at City Hall.
Seriously, it's really irritating.
last time underground stations... all peaceful.
okaylah. granted elevated station must sound the reminder to stay behind the yellow. so they build PSD, we all await the day no more announcements ever!
and then, there is this.
First was DSD stickers and now this, haiz..
The song scared the wits out of me...
i was at buona vista mrt this afternoon
i rolled my eyes when i hear this chime
the arrival song sounds great and it's very original! you singaporeans really should be happy with your subway system... smrt and sbs-transit are doing so much to make the journey as convenient as possible. singaporeans are the best in COMPLAINING! but when you watch the subway systems in other countries you would be very happy with such a clean, comfortable mrt system;) and just try to imagine your life in singapore without the mrt.....

Cannot always compare to shitty countries you know. Like that no improvement.
to me, our train system is only efficient.... if you board the 1st train.
you get a seat. the "morning rule of thumb" is if you sit there, it's your seat. don't care whether young man must stand, cannot sit. give other ppl seat. bla bla bla.
and dwelling time at stations is very short. door open fully only... "doors closing."

i think if they can operate consistantly with an interval of 3-4 minutes stop gap that is rather efficent.......

they can. but they don't.
because they've done their studies to see at which frequency can ensure the trains will be close to full hence maximising profits every second of operation.
