thing is, MRT depot is very land consuming.. e land ard NTU as in civilian area wun be enough

if there is a choice, it would be extended to Lim Chu Kang,
But this is highly impossible

My vision for a Western Region Line:
WR1 - Nanyang
WR2 - Bahar
WR3 - Jurong West
WR4 - Corporation - EWL at Lakeside
WR5 - Taman Jurong
WR6 - Jurong Port
WR7 - Teban
WR8 - West Coast
WR9 - Clementi West
WR10 - Clementi East
WR11 - Pandan Valley
WR12 - Holland West
WR13 - Holland VIllage - CCL
WR14 - Holland Hill
WR15 - Queenstown - EWL
WR16 - Bukit Merah
WR17 - Radin Mas
WR18 - Harborfront - NEL, CCL
Its almost impossible to have a MRT running through west coast and south of East West Line. Its impossible and if not, a low-capacity line since its you either run directly underneath EWL and skip some stations OR build through all non-residential areas from Clementi East to Harbourfront.
The only feasible route LTA will build is NTU to somewhere in Clementi West. The rest LTA won't even consider it. Industrial / Private housing from Clementi East to Harbourfront.
Wish that a line will pass Science Centre Singapore :)
I like the TIB-ORC via the Zion Road....

No! I don't think LTA should extend the LCK and Sungei Buloh! Look the Northwestern is so empty and Nature Reserve!
Still prefer LRT thou

Yes. I prefer the LRT (Jurong Region LRT Line) Jurong East then terminate at Boon Lay, via Pandan, Teban, Terusan and Yuan Ching.

It is going to happen within the next decade. The new Science Centre is going to be integrated into the current Chinese Garden Station.

Hello Dragonaxe. DTL and ERL are also run parraell to East - West line and together 3 lines run together in the East. While the West has only 1 EWL. So i think it's not a problem. West Coast MRT is good, there are many HDB buildings and also there's West Coast Park, many people like to go there fly kites, cycle

Your map looked very real. Looks like LTA's blueprint. Possible :)

Science Centre? It's located near Jurong East Interchange
In future new science centre it's a few steps away from Chinese Garden

So its feasible in a way. Since Eastern region line pass through Public housing and private housing and HUDC flats, should be feasible. =P. But now the problem is, will LTA approve? LOL
