Errors
: Marina Bay to be a 3 line interchange (but map only 2 lines)
: Jurong LRT has been around for very long time (hence should be shelved)
: Sentosa monorail should not be included
Yes. And that map created a long time. I think SMRT will surely be the operator of Downtown Line.

haha.. okay... Let's see in a few months time..
My bet : SBS Transit
Going by logic, SMRT will get it. Going by personal feel, SBST will get it.

Marina Bay is a 4-line interchange, if ERL is included.
sorry but i do not think it is possible, already doby ghaut as a 3 line interchange take quite a big amount of space.
if a station is to be 4 line, the first thing you have to consider is where the lines will run, stacked? alongside? mixed? joined?
each of these have their pros and cons
for stacked, CCL promenade already is a good example, add DTL to that and it already the deepest station after CCL bras basah, which about 30+ meters deep if i can recall,many people do not stop to think that if a 4 line interchange if built this way, image how deep is it??morever also the amount of stairs to climb in an event of a fire.
for alongside, the only con is that it going to take a huge amount of land underground, let us not forget it also affect existing building structures if there are buildings there, this would limit the building of the station for quite a bit
joined-the TSL with the ERL maybe the first in this configuration,assuming it both lines would be built in the same depth, then this combined line must have a common type of train running on this both lines, using different types on each may increase a risk of collision and also increase confusion.
mixed(alongside + stacked) maybe a good option,but that depends how big the space it can take and how deep it can get.
a word of advice though , most stacked stations with crossover platforms e.g city hall, raffles place, promenade(stacked platform) are big sized stations, this too must be taken into account.

this map is not accurate at all here are the points why it is not accurate
1)bayfront was not an interchange with CCL as it is now
2)bayfront is not link to marina bay as it is now
3)BT(bukit timah line) and DT line were merged to form downtown line as seen in the LTA official map
4)eastern region line has been revamped, Rochor to tampines have been changed to DTL stage 3 , extended to include 2 more stations inbetween tampines and expo, DTL stage 3 lines ends at expo (for now)
5) bras basah no longer an interchange as indicated in this map
6) no news of north cost line either, however there is a good chance that TSL after DTL might go to SBST ,the TSL thread on skyscraper city have some hints there, but not comfirmed news, so best advised to take it with a pince of salt.
4 line station depends on layout of tracks.
================================= <-- tracks
first stack
================================= <-- tracks
================================= <-- tracks
second stack
================================= <-- tracks
Then, a link will be made to connect the first stack to the second.
Some thing like this:
1 street
B1 Concourse
B2 first line and second line (first stack) , third line and fourth line (second stack)
B3 first line and second line (first stack) , third line and fourth line (second stack)
My choice: SMRT. Include me in the list!

Hah! Now you decided to vote for SMRT, is it?
Originally posted by langer68:4 line station depends on layout of tracks.
- 4 lines terminating at the station: This depends on where the tracks come from. If its like this, most probably stacked can be use. But, still, probably the stack would be different: a stack on one side and another another side:
================================= <-- tracks
first stack
================================= <-- tracks
================================= <-- tracks
second stack
================================= <-- tracks
Then, a link will be made to connect the first stack to the second.
Some thing like this:
1 street
B1 Concourse
B2 first line and second line (first stack) , third line and fourth line (second stack)
B3 first line and second line (first stack) , third line and fourth line (second stack)
- or vice versa
- If no lines terminate then I don't know what to say. depends on layout.
Look like something based on Paya Lebar MRT Station.

Last change!
I decided not to be put on a none section. I Hope SBST get a new line, However, I think SMRT would win the tender.
And what u mean by 'some thing to do with PYL'?

SMRT sure win de lah....
see then
See first la, I hope SBS win.
I vote SMRT. The NEL by SBS Transit already going to be problematic. I think LTA can't stand NEL.
