I am a frequent user of the public transport i.e MRT and buses.
I always see good things like peopl giving up their seats for needy people such as pregnant ladies or eldery aunties or uncles.
My heart is always feel warm when I see such kind acts.
:):)
Only good things I see on MRT are pretty girls.
especially young Malay mothers with great boobs in low-cut shirts...............

Welcome to sgForums!
I beg to differ. I rarely see such acts and I think we have some of the most stone-hearted people in the world on our trains.
In fact, in the past week and a half, I've only witnessed one person giving up a seat to someone who needs it more - me.
Those are MY observations.
Good things:
- some people even myself give the seat to those people who need it more.
- a few people like myself give way to alighting passengers before boarding.
Bad Things:
- commuters don't want to move to the centre of the car, so what i do?? Shout at them to move or push myself to middle of the car.
- most of the passengers just dash in when the doors are open

Put yourself at those people shoes, you will notice that they have a reason for doing these, like forgetting about waiting for people to alight first then board and stuffs.

Yes, but you see, this point is common sense and should be done without needing to be asked to. The worst part is that the ones that don't give way act like it's the alighting passengers' fault for getting in their way.

I've experienced before once. When I alighted from the train, you are supposed to give way. In the end, some woman shouted the F word at me for allowing me to alighting first. Awesome right.
Seeing good things on trains? Yea, i like seeing weird things on trains such as staris error, etc.

Really? I always overtake at least seven people when I go down the stairs to the concourse (yes, I use the stairs - I avoid downward escalators as much as possible), and I'm 14.
What really amazes me is how poorly the "stand on the left" rule is enforced on escalators. People in other countries seem to understand that flawlessly. Singapore? NO ONE DOES. It especially pisses me off, and it's caused me to miss a train on at least five occasions.
C'mon, is it that hard to move a step to the left?

the Gd thing that u all see
i didnt even see it once
for the 1st 3 posts
i see it everytime
they should change the system. Boarding and alighting takes place simultaneously with half the door space. Line is drawn on platform and train cabin
i think its a win-win situation.
