I thought Bendemeer Station kena one.... LTA announced Stage 3 since 20 Aug and yet Bencoolen has confirmed..
Sungei Rd station would be considered the most complicated construction
Road can't really be diverted much and e old shophouses.

I don't think LTA why working name as Sungei Road..... It will interchange with Rochor Station by the same line......

There's no more Rochor interchange.
Sungei Rd station is located along Jln Besar near Kelantan Rd. For bus term, it's the last bus stop before Sv 23, 66 & 67 proceed to Rochor Canal Rd.

gotta understand, the initial plan last year is no longer valid.
Just like Mattar station, it's supposed to be at Kallang Way.

Wikipedia, although most of it is usually factual, is not the most reliable source out there (well, neither is the press in Singapore, but still...)

CCL4 & 5 is more to benefit ppl in the Central i.e. Bishan and those working at Pasir Panjang
yep..CCL 4 and 5 dont actu benefit ppl in the west say like cck or boonlay..cause CCL makes a loop b4 reaching the town area which in turns does not cut time at all...whether or not going harbourfront would be much nearer, i have my doubts..
For Sungei Rd and Bencoolen St, their shophouses nearby also needs to be tear down

The routing in CBD leg from DBG to Suntec dun benefit ppl in e West alrdy, still need to use Citylink Mall to Suntec.
But in any case weekend ridership is likely to be an issue for SMRT.
Does anyone has a copy of latest DTL3 schematic diagram with crossovers etc? I realized that the Wiki states that Bedok Town Park station will have middle track, which is pretty interesting. I know that "DT27" on old diagram did have a middle track, but that was due to "DT21a", which is presently Jalan Besar, so I want to know the latest development.
