True.

It can either get uncoupled and one of them (or both) will continue to serve the line, or sleep in the depot until the next peak hour comes. I once saw the same coupled train in the line 3 times in a row, during 3 peak hours.

LRT train stalls, trapping commuters
By Ted Chen
Ten commuters were trapped yesterday in a Light Rail Transit (LRT) train for 35 minutes on 27 August, as heavy rained poured outside.
At about 11am, the train was on its way from Fajar to Bangkit station along the Bukit Panjang LRT line when the train suddenly stopped. Trains running in the opposite direction were not affected.
SMRT, owner of SLRT, which operates the line, said the disruption was due to a track fault and not related to the weather.
When the disruption was made known, SLRT technicians arrived on site in about 10 minutes to rectify the problem. The train stopped suddenly due to a train fault, nothing to do with the weather.
No one was injured in the incident, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

Time to refurb the SLRT thingy.
Hopefully they just tear down 10 Mile Junction, rebuild the epic failure line so as to interchange with another failure MRT line --- Downtown Line (By not interchanging with Rochor is already a big fail + mistake ---- coz it does NOT do any benefit for people in East going to West such as Ubi to Beauty World as an example)
Oh, both of them are common in a thing -- Bombardier. They are proven to be fail........
Hmmm...
Someone tell the reporter it is called SMRT Light Rail, not SLRT. SLRT is like years ago.
should order some innovas for the *a-hem* LRT ...

Wah... Luckily it broked down on a cliff, if not troublesome...
Today on BPLRT 114/110 was dam shiok. The train was on svc B when it just flew pass Phoenix station without even applying any brakes. All the pax was like WTF (was one of them)! others outside was like staring at the train fly pass. thanks to that, if not i would have been quite late for school.

Oh. Sometimes also like that. Non-stop: Teck Whye Station <==(Skips Phoenix Station) ==> Bukit Panjang Station.
Then why they 'run away from people'??
