If the authorites could afford to close the entire sector of stations due to JEMP, I see no surprise why they cant just close down the failure BPLRT and hopefully to replace it by Innovia during the upgrade of Ten Mile Junction.
Now, my personal feel is that the authorities are going to shut down TMJ station and convert that to usual depot only while Bukit Panjang LRT would be shifted nearer to the LRT so that it would become integrated interchange. I think it would be sensible as they could always build a "Change Alley style" overhead bridge shopping street with air-cons. (Probably can act as Bukit Panjang XChange 2 as well?)
Look, it is totally senseless NOT to dig underground tunnel and link from existing BPJ LRT to BPJ MRT and cause trouble for DBTF (You can only enter rapid transit system once out of entire journey) when it is so close AND it is not like such arrangments has never done before (Look at Outram Park MRT EWL - NEL tunnel) and hence my base of the theory as above. And it will NOT inconvience the users so much because Bukit Panjang LRT station has 4 lifts for each side and all they need to do when they change the lifts would be shutting down 1 from each side at a time and disabled / elderly or people who need to use the lifts still have one to use.

I doubt from LRT -> MRT its counted. If not what about residents transferring from BPLRT to NSL everyday?
BTW, I was reading some parts. I think SBST should hire you to save people in case of emergencies. Since you know how to open the train doors. Why not if the train stall and they need to use the detrainment ramp, why not you open the side doors instead? Its faster =P. Detrainment ramp takes 30 seconds to fully open.

Click on it, it's the CX-100, not the real Innovia APMs. NAMING FAIL =P

Not really. I suspect INNOVIA is now the product family name, not just the train type.

Yeah thats why. Maybe its a hint that they are changing the fleet from CX-100 to Innovias?

There should be a tender....SMRT or LTA site?
I do wish they upgrade - it's getting noisier as the trains get older...If they do change to Innovias, then maybe they just go "woosh" past my house. =P But I do agree with joey that the Innnovia is the family product name.

From my guess, it is meaning
INNOVIA AUTOMATED PEOPLES MOVERS 100

The Innovia APM 100 == the ex-ADtranz CX-100.

Damn it. I thought LTA contacted Bombardier to secretly supply Innovias for BPLRT.
Anyway, they look 10x cooler than the current CX-100s. I guess its because Innovia is expensive. If a faregate cost 30'000, what's a train then?

Around 100 000?

Unfortunately, when DBTF states enter the rapid system once, it means by NOT tapping out of it and NO - you can transfer from BPJ LRT to NSL within the paid areas and hence that is considered as one time. But, for this BPJ station - DTL, you need to tap out and tap in again which means enter twice. This is 2 different case. Of course, you can argue with me on the disabled people / pregnant / sicked people who cannot use the staircase BUT, you can always ask the staffs in the LRT station to assist them and hence that is a "non-issue", except very waste of time when compared to Sengkang / Punggol.
Set 113 got new door stickers.
This thread has gone dead for some time now...
I guess they would change the rules of DBTF when DTL is launched. If not its a white elephant. IMO, i always see BP residents crowding the bus stops instead of the stations.
101 & 109 got the stickers a few days ago, unsure on 106.
BTW today BPLRT delayed for ~30mins for some reasons. One DNB 103 & 105 entered Platform 2 @ CCK in manual for some reasons. 2 TOs in each train operating them individually.
BPLRT new door stickers have been applied to all operating trains.
BPLRT station safety equipment like intercomm and emergency telephones were checked yesterday... Except ESP plungers.
You want me spot trains with new stickers - is can one. I stay near the tracks and the trains go past quite slow, can see the set number and new stickers :P

All have what.... =P

I know :P
Their names always like this one
Bombardier Movia
Bombardier Innovia
ALL THE "VIA" at the suffix
Correct me if I'm wrong: Once a coupled LRT train finishes serving the peak hours, it will be off-service so it can go back to the depot and uncouple and continue the daily routine. (Saw a train which was off-service - 101/104)
