"WHY YOU FILM?"
"SPEAK!"
Good day ahead
If I say "I'm a train fan" they sure not believe one.
Forget it. I'm not wasting my time explaining.

Must show FOSMRT Card for proof. Then they will contact SMRT lol

My previous incident at TNM. I thought TNM is open for photoshooting since there's a large number of foreigners disembarking from CGL. A DNB train arrived so I film for fun. A staff appeared out of nowhere and...
Staff: Hey boy! What are you doing?
Me: Filming trains?
Staff: Stop it or I call the police! Wait here!
*he go chase ppl out of the dnb train*
Staff: Delete already? See the police there (the security personnel who are there coincidentially)? Quickly delete!
Me: *switches to photo mode to cheat him* *show*
Camcorder: NO FILES
Staff: ok...
The video was deleted since it was already ruined, but that was after I tricked him.

I must say,
FOSMRT Card IS NOT A PASSPORT FOR YOU TO TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS. You are simply tarnishing the image of Friends of SMRT.
Hey, if you are a friend of SMRT, why aren't you following their house rules?
Furthermore, not everyone who joined FOSMRT is a train fan. Who says they are train fans? They may like trains, but do not have that much knowledge on trains than us. Some are interested in buses, some in their taxis. Who knows? Don't assume everyone on FOSMRT is a train fan.
I have to reiterate it again cause some people won't understand,
FOSMRT CARD IS NOT TO BE USED AS A PASSPORT FOR YOU TO TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS.

You show, bigger problems may show up. If you require examples you may request for them tomorrow as I'm tired now.

ok... i think u show this to the police, he may search u inside out. Last time at Boon Lay downstairs, i saw them questioning a bangla for no reason, just bcos they suspect he's a... terrorist? Unrealistic people.
It all depends on luck. Some CSOs and policemen are nice, some aren't, and some just don't give a damn. For example, Changi Airport station staff would be more alert, while at Commonwealth, there's a big gang of policemen just chilling in the bathroom (and I mean just standing in the bathroom doing nothing ).

That's inexcusable racism and stereotyping.

You all go CCL rides on Sunday. Every Sundays I went for TC polices running up and down. (Train)
Example: There's have a gangs. A group Paya Lebar board a train to Dakota, then they exchange polices in Dakota Station.
Then the polices in Dakota board the train to next station. In one Carriage there have 4 doors. Two polices one door then two polices another door until ALMOST whole train door! And I mean the back door one.. (Left Door - Not Often)
For the EWL, policemen are ALWAYS in groups of 4 to 5 at the last door of the train. If they are going somewhere, they usually don't care if they catch you filming, but if they are getting off, good luck. =P

+1 Look this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ffn397zAuTM
Polices alighted at the back doors. Luckily they do not know the terror last time, unlike now..
The staff at CGA won't care since tourists will spam take photos there anyway.

Then how? polices and CSOs came? They released you?
I'm probably stereotyping here, but are the Malays ALWAYS the ones (CSOs and policemen) that actually bother to catch you and tell you that you can't take photos/videos/etc? (On the other hand, the nicest SMRT staff that I actually know is Malay...)
Some are kind, some aren't. I met one cso on CCL, who actually knows someone who really loves to take videos of the train. (This someone is a future TO, btw) I asked for permission, so yeah, he granted me, but I guess that only applies because I took it on 17th April this year.

Oh Ok, well anyway, I wanted to film at standing the front of C830 and filming the tunnel.
An SMRT CSO came, he told me "No video allowed". He didn't call and other polices or CSO. Just the words "No video allowed". Then I forget it. (He's not scolding, just reminding me)
I met one CSO last year on 033/034 and I was FLIMING. He asked me:
"Boy, what are you doing?"
"Er...Filming"
"You know that filming is not allowed in SMRT stations and trains?"
(pretend I dont know) "Er..no?"
"I know you Sec. school students have nothing better to do, you may FILM to your heart's content. That would be so much better than causing trouble out there"
Mentioned this before last year

No. I think Malay staff are always catch those who taking photo. Similar last time, I get caught from the Malay staff. I really hates him so much! I think he's the one who so stirctly about this. (Black and Red suit)
Next, he call four police and one C.I.D.
I getting a deep trouble when they asking me this thingy.

Yea and I got involved for no reason (didn't take any videos on that day, only catching Svc 405).
I always said "duno" when they ask me. If they don't, I say "I thought can film?". Also, a chinese CSO talked to us about it (yes, the entire group doing train camp), so don't think it's always a malay CSO.

May I remind everyone of you not to make any racial discrimination in this topic. Be forewarned that there are Malay members in this forum (shows posts above)
