As long as you are in the station. Don't come out (tap-out).

LTA hired contractors to build and LTA handed over it to SMRT for SMRT to operate

Really? 24 stations?? Let's Ride Pasir Ris to Boon Lay or Joo Koon. Over time??

There is a way to bypass it.
First You take the train from Pasir Ris to Kranji
You board the train, watch all the trains that pass by.(Thats how i do train spotting) I can spot at least 6 trains in 10 mins this way
You just write down the trains that pass by. Usually they are arriving or departing the stations
In the middle of stations (CANT SEE, USE YOUR UBER PRO 15MP DCM!)

LOL. Actually that is just deterrence. The actual fact is that when you tap in you can stay in the MRT/LRT system for 120 mins regardless of what station you alight.

fish u la, only $0.44? Where can that be, or rather a child's fare is pegged to adult fare (Which means going from Jurong East to Clementi and Jurong East to Paya Lebar got different fare, but a child's fare is up to $0.50 or so)
Just a note: Maximum adult fare is more than 3X of maximum child fare (Can go to $1.80 or so in the entire EWL). So, please think before post.
