Today i took Circle Line from BIS to PYL and i heared a announcement there's no train service to Marymount at 3++pm. Train to Dhoby Ghaut delay from 6min to 8min make announcement "the next train to Dhoby Ghaut is arriving in 2 miniuts, sorry for inconvenience cause" the Ratis show "Dhoby Ghaut"
i board trainset 8111 and the VPIS say "There is a delay when departing, sorry for inconvenience cause" , "this train ends at Dhoby Ghaut"..
Train departed very slowly.. halfway to Lorong Chuan Station, the train stop for a while and move slowly..
the occur goes the same until Tai Seng Station back to normal..
So frequent train delay (The last time was happened in somewhere around mid may 2010, it is like less than 3 weeks!)? What had happened? The NEL, being similar system as CCL (Except the use of overhead cantery and theoratically CCL rolling stock should be more flexible / advanced stock as it is newer / second generation for CBTC trains), have fewer such incidents.
to add on,
there's lots of commuters waiting for train towards Dhoby Ghaut, none of the commuters waiting for Marymount bound train.. and when i board the train.. wow! full! like AM peak hours of EWL/NSL
World-class transport
JKJK!
It wanted to celebrate its birthday but SMRT refused so it striked back by delaying LOL
I at Serangoon Station yesterday at around 3pm, the train towards Marymount wouldnt move , they keep say its for track fault. After that i had to wait like 10 mins plus just for another train, the other platform also dunno why got delay also.

Correction, the VPIS say,'There is a delay in departure, we apperciate your patience'
