Suggestion: Replace half or lesser CX-100 trains with Innovia trains for trial purposes, then replace half of it to maintain a balance. (Biggest Delection evar.)
are innovias compatible with the tracks or paths along the Bukit Panjang LRT?

Yes.

phew ...
cause a saw many of those have no common walkway between two tracks
they should consider some options
Actually I choose, the 5th one, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Crystal Movers.
Seriously, why did they choose such a weird third rail ON THE MIDDLE OF THE TRACKS? That is so dangerous should any incidents happened. By the way, apart of CX-100 and Innovias, is there any other LRT trains or other railway vehicle that use a MIDDLE 3rd rail? I suppose the rest of the LRT are using a 3rd rail system similar to the one in Sengkang / Punggol right (Side ones, still different from our C151s etc). The reason why I asked this is pretty simple, to ask if the LTA have any choice to buy from other manufacturers or not in terms of BPLRT (Dont forget that C651s are not from Kawasaki)
To SMB92U, to be fair to CX-100, actually derailment / train crash is not some CX-100 only privllege since the Clementi incident did happened on 2 of the C151s (But that was track slippery and this LRT collision in Phoenix is about failed train security system or what).
Slightly OT, while there are forumers who requested for SMRT to review their timing, but due to a total of 19 cars available, using them all might not be a solution to solve the over-crowding issue, so I wonder why did not the SMRT buy the trains from Changi Airport when they demolish the old CX-100?
This is why I leave this as a beginning to the death of the existing BPLRT (Probably will rebuilt in long term plan), the reasoning is actually coupled with the "misalignment" of BPJ LRT / MRT and the possibility of Ten Mile Junction being developed to a Shopping Centre integrated with Condo plan (Just like many others what). Dont forget that the TVMobiles were not installed on the new buses since 2005 or so, and it eventually really died out. This is just my speculation la, no offense though.
The problems lies with the rolling stock, not the viaducts. What's wrong with the viaduct? Anyway, did you know the BPLRT runs on 600V AC, not traditional DC used with most third rail?

Actually, to me both are also sucks.
Look, there is no rolling stock in any where in the world with 100% perfect no errors ever since they were in operations. So we must be prepared should any glitches happened. Now, if Sengkang / Punggol LRT were to have glitch (I have witnessed a Car 04 stuck / blackout in Sengkang station in 2004 or so (In clockwise direction 1, 2, 3....) , and thus only the anticlockwise direction was available, meaning 5, 4 , 3...... which I happened to see the signal for the clockwise was pointing towards Cheng Lim since I started my journey from SE1. The time of incident was at 8pm or so), anyway, they can do a safe emergency evacuation because people wont fall on the roads so easily (Unless suiciders on LRT), but in BPLRT, you cannot do so, because there is simply no barrier to keep you from falling and in my point of view, one can fall down easily and any such incidents will means people must walk extra carefully, as if they are participating some kind of MOE adventure parks' camping where Sec 2 campers went to walk to "narrow wooden plank" in a height of X meters. (Ok, some others got a chance to play flying fox etc, OT)
If the BPLRT does not fail so easily AND the alignment of BPJ MRT is good and nice, I am sure I like this system. But sad to say it is not and I just hope it can get a rebirth.

If the CX-100 is stuck, the only way to get out is via the doors, the CX-100 does not have any emergency exits, the doors are the emergency exits. REBUILD THE BPLRT!! I gt an awesome suggestion. Build them taller than the hdb flats so that we can do without the misting windows

Innovia faster than CX-100 , what u expect? Later *CRASHS!*E&RES*&
You pay for the installation of the handrails for SKLRT and PGLRT

erm i think he meant source ...
Nothing strange. BPLRT doors open as and when they like.
The doors arent locked properly.
Saw it once. There is a slope down from Bukit Panjang to Petir stations where the doors will open about 1/4.... and den the door slides back when it finishes sloping down.
So I urge all not to lie near the doors because they open and let you fall off for lying on the doors.
Lying on the doors
Penalty = DEATH.
