SMRT wanna save money.. I experienced such incident before since i take the train home everyday from school. It is even worse in the evenings when there are alot of people since it is peak time! I can even see the makeup of a lady smudging due to the heat.. We paid for the train ride!!! And yet we are not comfortable!
Depends on the train i will say, purple line trains have strong air-con.
211/212. HOTTEST. TRAIN. EVER.

There was once I took a peak hour (evening) train from Dhoby Ghaut to City Hall after watching a movie and the train was damn crowded and the moment I entered I was sweating and the temperature was of great contrast to the MRT station =.= and then last week I took a train from City Hall to Dhoby Ghaut and also peak hour, train farking crowded and hot too like no air con. And does anyone realise everytime the train is this crowded, the train announcements also damn muffled and soft one?

Not always. The volume can be adjusted by the Train Operator. Some train sets even have loud announcements in crowded trains.

Polar Bears and Penguins would start coming....... :)
weather being so hot these days, SMRT should lower their temperature. seriously how can you justify letting passengers sweating profusely in the cabin, for the sake of cutting costs? there are so many ways of cutting costs, first cut the salary of top management by 5%, that solves the problem already. furthermore, we are paying for the ride.
