Anyone happened to be on the train when this happened?
C151 (forgot train number) entered Dover stn and stops violently, short of the end of the station.
Engineer (or train driver? or whatever.) tries to move the train - accelerating sound is made but then there is the 'glog-glog' sound of the motor disengaging, and the train jerks and stops.
2nd attempt to move the train succeeds - train crawls very slowly to the end of the station and stops. Doors open, people board/alight, doors close.
Train tries to move off. Encounters same problem - accelerates for a second then motor cut, jerks and stops violently. Happens twice.
SMRT staff rushes onto platform from the control station, and speaks to the engineer driving the train. Third attempt to move the train fails.
Meanwhile, many trains continue to pile behind the immobile C151.
After a few minutes, the train is able to operate normally once again, and moves off.
Is that an issue of power supply in the train? Did the lights turned off or some special announcements was made?
Kindly forward to -> train happenings
Thank you, we dun want new threads to be created

nope, no lights. annoucements spammed in other trains and stations, saying that there was a technical fault and thus caused delays
