But i see no new lines in the WEST. i feedbacked, but they say they don't want. They told me bus better.
Hey, you keep building lines in the East, what about WEST ?
JURONG is BIG
There's no station with a name Jurong West,
There's also no Nanyang which is NTU. No Jalan Bahar, teban gardens, Lakeside.
I really hope they should really build a JURONG MRT LINE
ahem... that what im trying to rant about for a very Long Time....somebody needs to tell the Govntment or LTA that they should be fair to the needs of the people not on just one side of the island.....

WTH u toking about? You mean residents at Yew Tee can enter Gali Batu Depot(GBD) by an entrance to board a train there and go to their destinations?
btw,plz write properly !

Feasible, but LTA / Operators wont like that. They can put a side off as passengers area but there again, it is possible / more likely that they build a separate station nearby, just like Tai Seng / KCD in distant future. (Actually they are supposed to close up the gap between Bukit Panjang - Kranji along Woodlands Road. The cheapo follow road design at the expense of first non - integrated MRT - LRT interchange means they will never build DTL towards Yew Tee but Kranji should there a need to serve the North North West region.)

I've aready feedback. they said not feasible . They tell me the bus to take to Taman Jurong, nanyang all that.
They are ignoring the west siders. !!! and build 3 new lines at the East, thomsom, ERL,DTL and also CCL ! CCL only benefits the east-siders
all east. where's west ?
I'm going to feedback straight away to LTA tomorrow !

(+2) Agree! I think LTA heck care about the west after they construct Tuas xtension and CCL4-5. but seriously, if i were staff of LTA, your dream of having the west more "railed" would come true with these:
1) Jurong Region LRT-linking Boon Lay to Jurong East, cutting through Nanyang, Jalan Bahar, JIE and Teban Gardens.
2) "Western Region Line"-linking Outram Park, HarbourFront, Shenton Way and Marina Bay to Clementi West, Ulu Pandan, Toh Tuck, Toh Guan, Jurong West, Japanese Garden, Lakeside, NTU, Jln Bahar, Teban Gardens before ending at Benoi or a future station Tuas Extension, as well as other areas in the west..
3) Northern Singapore also like Western Singapore. Maybe...North Coast Line, Outer Circle Line and other future systems that will link the north, northwest and west.
but just wait till i work in LTA, then will announce :)

Firstly, what JL stands for?Secondly, shouldn't it be WR01 to WR15?Thirdly for JL11,it only benefit enlisted NS men who need to go for checkup like eye checkup and backbone checkup!
BTW, if u don't know ,Police NS men go training at HTA(Home Team Academy) at least 3 months.PES A(very fit squad) serve 2 years and 10 months and then ORD (mean an event or parade to show he has finished his NS period). He then decide whether he want to sign on(mean to work with SPF) or not or carry on with his life!
(oops,I'm getting off topic here! :D)

For me, I prefer Boon Lay should be an Interchange instead of Lakeside (Uncrowded Area)
@i_luv_erky
Orchard = NS22

I think your route map gonna to be like this:
Dark Blue line and Stations in Square.
Originally posted by leo2010agendas:but just wait till i work in LTA, then will announce :)
Yeah, dream on, Go get an engineering diploma or any higher qualifications and work with SMRT rail or SBST rail for 8 years before thinking of joining. You need 8 years of relevant experience related to rail or what so ever

I think he wanted a Train in the west side... Not only buses. If LTA really plan this route, It should be operated by SBST and there's no space enough for the depot.
Lim Chu Kang, Sungei Buroh etc.
(Northwestern) I think LTA not allowed to build MRT there...
Originally posted by joeyfjj:What is wrong with buses?
nothing wrong with bus. But please be fair. All the new lines are all in the east. And infact in singapore, the Western Portion is the biggest portion in singapore. Bigger than Central/South

Well, you are a bit wrong.
Dont forget that DTL is also serving the West as well, if not Cashew, Bukit Panjang, Beauty World, Tan Kah Kee, Hillview all East or Central ah?
BTW, TSL is not in the East, but more Central and North, despite I will give u the credit as in terms of EXW (East X West ---- Lol, taken from 1X2 soccer betting idea where X is the Central areas, such as Catchment area / Toa Payoh etc.).
I have my own suggestion regarding this, please view the thread on Western Region Line.
I think there are too many ideas popping out of here & into LTA HQ.No wonder they can't handle server stress...

Sorry, i didn't make it clear enough just now . But i did say the 3 new
lines are all located in the North/South(Central) and mainly in the
East.
North? Thomson line, AMK and so on
Bt Panjang, and cashew is near Northern-Central.
Western parts includes,
CCK - Jurong East
Tuas to Dover.
Jurong island to OLD choa chu kang
these big areas are called west

I gave them idea once. They won't be stress. They all like feedback on improving our transport
