eh it is just the water treaty in 1961 ending in 2011 ...

They can have 2 different Rochor stations, like outram park
DTL2 Rochor is almost at Jelan Basar/Bencoolen st junction anyway

erm for rochor stations can be linked
like BSH (CCL/NSL-S/NSL-N)
serangoon (CCL/NEL)
DBG (NSL/CCL/NEL)
but rochor station is like TNM interchange
same line
with single numbering
You know the show life after people. They should show wad happens to Signapore MRT after noone is there to maintain. All ppl have left the earth.

According to my Geography notes, Singapore had signed a second water treaty with Malaysia in 1962 that will end in 2061.

That is true, and by then, hopefully NEWwater and the Marina Reservoir will be able to take over the job.
EDIT: Get back on topic... :D

not sure about the numbering. it might have 2 different numbering with same color/line, which seems weird

it seems like a TNM interchange
but
weird with the previous numbering then DT13 appears from no where
and let say no station between chinatown and Rochor
then
DT19 > DT13 > DT20
and
DT20 > DT13 > DT19
weird?

yea, so they would probably use 2 numberings.
another way could be to give a different name to the DTL3 station(to avoid confusion), but link them together as an interchange anyway

a different name?
then what it is named? Jalan Besar?
or Sungei Road?
but i doubt a interchange station
but it would be like HK MTR's Central (ä¸çŽ¯) (initially given Peddler and Chater)
or maybe like some of Malaysian railway in KL?

However, it is confirmed that the interchange will be Rochor Station.

It is almost 800 meters away from the junction of Jalan Besar / Bencoolen Street.

Please tell me where was it confirmed that there is an interchange station at Rochor?

it isnt 800 metres. more like 80m.
Hi there...
Hi ther, i dont know if this will work, but i think that underground lines should be replaced with SUSPENSION lines-that is something like a suspension bridge but instead there are suspended MRT stations and train tracks
realise there is no DTL4 in the line..probably another station will be build in the future??

Well DTL 4 will be located at Old Fort Factory nearby. I wonder why cant they build a station there as it is a historical site. (There is a condo.)

DTL3 news releasing today : Radio 1003
Reported by littlearea from Skyscraper.
the structure for the entrance of DTL 1 is already up at 10 mile junction...but much is yet to be done..
LTA has updated their website page on DTL3. You can see the planned position of the stations on the map...
Can anyone tell me if there will be anymore Paya Lebar style with underground middle platform station?? Slidings not counted. Hence Duchess (Tan Kah Kee) - King Albert not counted.
@Samuel Lee ,, it's Braddell_MRT_Station
LTA should bulid a entrance at Gali Batu depot so that ppl living in Yewtee can benefit from it...How cool is it to have a depot cum station....
LTA always focus on the East side.
See, DTL, ERL, Thomson Line are are in the EAST and Central.
But i see no new lines in the WEST. i feedbacked, but they say they don't want. They told me bus better.
Hey, you keep building lines in the East, what about WEST ?
JURONG is BIG
There's no station with a name Jurong West,
There's also no Nanyang which is NTU. No Jalan Bahar, teban gardens, Lakeside.
I really hope they should really build a JURONG MRT LINE
