How come SMRT report a slight different story when the had a loud bang and caught fire for 1 or 2 sec, followed by smoke when we reached Braddell station, there are also bright spark/fire which can be seen coming from the carriage.

So the train that went wrong was C151, C651 or C751B?

Quite good liao.
SMRT's account is that 97.4% of their train services are undisrupted, as compared to LTA's requirement of 95%.
I think they are trying to achieve a 95% in the past few years. Target not met so far.

Or derailed... Or... er... disappeared? =D
Then we must know which trains went MIA for long time, then we know which train number kena it.
BTW, the "1st train" kena fire or what, must sent back to depot at once. So how does it go? (Go Toa Payoh and cross over to return depot at once / park there until end of the day? or neither, just go in the opposite direction and Bishan SB platform become temp. NB such that it returned to depot and of course, if there is any train near Bishan will use SB track to go in the NB direction, back to Ang Mo Kio and possibly used the middle track?)
