Today when I was taking the train from Kovan to Boon Keng, In between Serangoon and Potong Pasir MRT, I saw this new station which is desserted and has nobody inside, with windows all pasted with white stickers(The train just went pass it lah, didn't stop). Anyone here knows what the name of that new station will be? Does it have a shopping mall on top like Farrer Park with City Square right above?
Woodleigh MRT Station. The station is fully underground and not in operation yet. It will only open when there is more development in the vicinity.
it had been there all along
but currently it's for 好兄弟
Why ghosts must be 好兄弟 meh ?
Ghosts can be 好姊妹 too wat ?
near the cemetery they didnt open it for fear of the dead travelling thru the stations.
haahahahahhaahha
do "they" relli need to take public transport?
must pay oso?

the dead ones are everywhere. We cannot see them does not mean they are not all around. Only people with the third eyes can see them.

i think yes, even for dead, its the fastest way to get from one point to another. Best of all its free for them as we cannot see them entering MRT.

I dont think its the reason, GOVT is some times superstitious like how they design the Suntec area and the fountains ect and the 1 dollar coin shape. Anyway its not good to open the NEA line with one station along the way where the dead resides. Shareholders and investors will feel uncomfortable. dont know if ghosts exist but definitely its like the power of suggestion, when u see a cemetery beside, yr mind starts to see "things". Like when u just watch a horror movie in yr room and u hear strange sounds, u think u are haunted by ghosts
there were actually reports of "people" in the station. The dead still lingers there and until they leave when development occurs,

No, it isnt new station. It's called Woodleigh and is closed till the land surrounding it is further developed. Anyway, post any questions at the questions thread

one of my indian frens and his peers wento the station at night after a night's out at a pub. they stopped to relac there with some vodka bottles in their hands. They saw an old woman , a faint outline and the figure disappeared like a mist.
What the hell. Creepy man ._.
1) I have been there for hours jogging both day and night. The empty plot of land used to be a cemetry. But it is now cleared and earmarked for future development.
2) The station is constructed for future use. It is empty now, but there needs to be maintenance to keep it in working condition.
3) The station is a secured location. Meaning you cant just enter as you wish. If anyone on the street can enter, then there is a big problem, because trains full of passengers are passing through it everyday.
4) The ghost stories are total hogwash. To see is to believe. Take a trip down yourself.
The empty train station itself looked very creepy when the train I was on bypassed it ~.~
Moderators, please lock this thread. It is useless.

+1
total hogwash or not, but try living beside a cemetry and u will always imagine things because of the eerie atmosphere.

wait till u see the New York Subway's abandoned stations. Its 10 times more spookier than tis woodleigh station. My fren who went there told me tat they r super freaky and have been abandoned for dunno how many years..The authorities there nvr care abt the stations and jus leave them to rot till now.My fren said tat some of those abandoned stations were used during those war times and after tat, they care abt them alr.And nw all left unused.
But he said tat the trains still slowly passby the abandoned stations. He said tat he felt so spooked even as he was inside the train as it slowly rattled pass an abandoned station. So u can imagine hw spooky it is.haha..

Yeah and Woodleigh station is not abandoned, and the trains pass by so quickly that i don't even feel anything about Woodleigh. It is a different story in New York..
